The Class of 2006 Memorial Scholarship Fund
Starting with the Class of 2026, our class will sponsor up to four $’06,000 scholarships for postgraduate education which honor the memory of our four friends in Memorial Hall.
Our memorandum of understanding, which extends through calendar year 2026, calls for the class to work with USNA’s Graduate Programs Office to build scholarship guidelines that reflect the characteristics that made Bull, Dan, Mike, and Ford special. In that same vein, we plan to host an all-hands-welcome awardee dinner each year prior to graduation for you to tell their stories.
The class’ minimum goal is $150,000, and for every $100 donated, $85 goes to the class’ gift fund (the remaining $15 goes to unrestricted funds, which are used by the superintendent to fund intramurals, guest speakers, etc. For the duration of our MOU, this formula will apply to all donations. Should you desire your donation be applied to a different priority (e.g. NOLS, the cybers, etc.), you’ll need to explicitly state that in your communications with the association.
